Welcome

to Lipstick and Light

A space born from long hospital corridors, quiet prayers, life-changing surgeries and the slow, sacred work of healing.

After facing stage II ovarian cancer, a full hysterectomy, and later lung cancer surgery, I have learned that healing is not only physical — it is emotional, spiritual, and deeply personal.

Here, I write gently and honestly about recovery, reflection, gratitude, grief, beauty, and the rediscovery of self after cancer.

Lipstick and Light is where I release, where I breathe, where I gather strength and where I hold space for anyone walking through their own tender season.

If you are here seeking comfort, understanding, or simply a reminder that softness can coexist with strength, you are welcome.

Let us heal — slowly, bravely, and together.

〜Yusnimah〜

A Little About Me

I’m Yusnimah Bousigues—a proud mother, devoted wife, beauty lover, and creator of joy in everyday life.

In 2025, I faced ovarian cancer and underwent a full hysterectomy, followed later by a lung cancer diagnosis and surgery. Today, I am embracing this season of healing with patience, courage, and grace.

Lipstick and Light is my space to share hope, resilience, and the beauty of living fully—even in life’s hardest seasons.

Still me. Still healing. Still shining.

One step at a time.
